The famous Winterfest of Lights is the centerpiece of Holiday Decorations at the beach. While the town may boast of 1,000,000 (or more) lights, the main attraction is definitely NorthSide Park. The park is transformed into a holiday wonderland fantasy of lights, sound and motion. The sound is the music playing favorite Christmas Carols – such as the Twelve Days of Christmas as the (boardwalk) tram carries you and your family along the park’s path decorated with large light displays depicting each of those 12 days. That is just one portion of the mile-long display featuring (literally) hundreds of lighted displays, many with animation. This is a real treat for young and old alike.
